"I was a bit nervous about this place based on the mixed reviews I had read. The photos on the site made the property look better than in real life. The hotel itself is run down and in need of some updates. The room was fine and bed was comfortable however the supplies white towels looked old and grey. The staff were very sweet and helpful. "The room was dated, old and dirty, old NASTY air contioner,chairs were old musty and tv was old only had scrabbled vietnamese channels......what tipped it over the top is when i found a pubic hair on my pillow, when i went downstairs to see if i could get another room,the guy didnt seem to make a big deal about it, i went downstairs next morning and told girl i was checking out, i showedher pictures a d she shugged her shoulders, i left for a better hotel. I hope i can get a refund for the 4...

"Avoid this hotel. The pictures on the website DO NOT represent what the condition of the hotel is currently. It is very run down and the only reason we stayed a second night was because I was sick all day the 1st day. The bathroom water pressure is none existent, we weren’t given a wifi password, no toilet paper, you need to turn on a switch for hot water which we also weren’t told about. This is a terrible rundown place and not worth the price they charge. We went to a different hotel in Hanoi...

"The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful but unfortunately the room was very noisy with the night market being right outside the window so it was noisy until midnight also the property next door was being renovated so drilling and banging starting before 8am"

"A very comfortable hotel in a great location, moments from the Water Puppets Theatre. Right in the heart of the city, easy access to the Night Market and Train Market. The only slight niggle was our City View room looked over an alleyway to an adjacent building (see photo) Good pool on the roof."
