"Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2 is a small older hotel. It rained the entire week we stayed there and our room felt damp. There was always condensation on the windows as well as the walls and floor in the bathroom. There was no fan in the bathroom which added to the problem. Rooms are not soundproof and the noise from the busy Hanoi traffic was constant. On the positive side, the staff were all excellent. The place was clean and well cared for. The breakfast was good and the service was great....

"Awful experience at this hotel. There is extremely loud construction going on next door (to the point of the walls shaking). And this is until 1am, the manager told us after we complained late at night. The facilities are run down and honestly not worth the money. "

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location, breakfast was great, the only thing we didn’t like is the hallway is very narrow dark the room is comfortable but toilet lighting is not good enough specially when we try to use the mirror quite dark. Ladies like bright lights."
