The location is right in the middle of the old-quarter so it's walking distance to the weekend night market (highly recommended) and the lake. The service was amazing. I arrived at 5.30 in the morning (I got the overnight train in from Hue) and they were able to have a room for me as soon as I got there. Jimmi, the Manager, was extremely helpful in helping me organise my trip to Ha Long bay as well as giving me some tips on what to see and do in the old quarter. The room was spacious, air conditioned and had a big bathroom.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Hanoi. Staff was superb. I especially want to thank Jenny who helped enormously when contacted about a Visa issue for getting into Vietnam, she was super helpful in resolving this stressful situation. The hotel is well situated in the old quarters. I recommend it.

Lovely clean rooms with super comfy pillows and beds including free wifi and cooked breakfasts. Staff here were amazing and so helpful! We had been experiencing problems booking flights online and they offered to book them for us (no extra charge). So easy! Helped us with everything from a last minute room booking to even crossing the busy street :-). Will definitely stay here again.

Great find in Hanoi! The Royal Palace Hotel has an excellent location, 5-7 min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and so many good restaurants in the Old Quarter. The staff is very professional, but also very friendly with excellent English language skills. The breakfast was very tasty with both Asian and Western selections, also one of the best iced coffees. The rooms were modern and very clean. We will definitely stay at Royal Palace our next time in Hanoi.

Glad to have chosen this hotel for my Hanoi stay! The location is excellent: minutes away from the old quarter, the bustling area near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, St Joseph's cathedral, and much more. The room was also great, clean, modern and spacious. Room service was fast and really delicious. The Concierge team immediately provided suggestions of places to visit (and a paper map, which is rare to find nowadays!) and where to eat. Additionally, they provide affordable and secure hotel-airport transfers. The check-out was smooth and the staff so helpful and understanding. Overall, a great hotel and service!

We had a pleasant stay. Jimmy and team were extremely hospitable and made us feel at home. They helped us with a map of the area and gave some great suggestions to spend a lovely evening at Hanoi. The location of the hotel also makes it super easy to access all the must visit spots. I recommend the hotel.

Their commitment to exceeding our expectations consistently enhanced our experience, making our stay truly enjoyable. The breakfast offerings, particularly the fresh fruits and vegetables, were delightful, and all the dishes were of outstanding quality. The hotel’s location, conveniently situated near Hoan Kiem Lake, facilitated our exploration of the area. Additionally, I had concerns about potential noise due to the central location; however, the hotel proved to be remarkably quiet. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. Stayed here a few times whilst touring Vietnam. Loved this hotel. It’s in a great location in the old quarter. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The buffet breakfast is wonderful with a great choice and variety of foods. One of the highlights of this hotel is the warm friendly and helpful staff at the front desks and restaurant. I was feeling a little under the weather on my last stay. I asked at reception where the nearest pharmacy was and the young lady immediately offered to take me there and helped me get the correct medicine. At breakfast the next morning the waitress had heard I was unwell and asked if she could get any particular food for me. She then made me a superb cup of ginger tea ! Great service above and beyond expectations .The staff really helped me enjoy a fabulous time in Hanoi . Thank you so much I hope to be back one day !

Fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Old Quarter Hanoi. The staff were exceptional especially when they take their time knowing their guests’ needs and interests. Our conversations with the staff also gave us an insight into the everyday life in Vietnam. Service was excellent & they even kept our luggages for us when we left for Halong Bay. Great restaurant. Learned there are a group of these hotels in Hanoi after booking this one. Lots of sights, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. They also offer a shuttle to the airport at a competitive cost. This will be my go to hotel when I visit Hanoi.

From the moment I arrived, the fabulous front desk staff made me feel like family! And the experience just kept getting better throughout the 2 weeks we stayed there during holiday time. Our room was roomy and well laid out, with large windows (excellent soundproofing, by the way), a comfortable bed, a nice sitting area, and good storage and hanging space. The breakfast was great, with eggs prepared to your order by the friendly and efficient restaurant staff, with beautifully plated dishes that tasted as good as they looked. And here let me stop and say how friendly, helpful, and efficient every member of the staff was. Front desk people, Jenny at Guest Relations, the restaurant cooks and servers, the cleaning staff... everyone genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. Everything is easy to walk to from here, and each time I came back, it felt like coming home. Excellent value for money, too. Why stay anywhere else???

We just booked this hotel at random on Expedia.com and from start to finish the professionalism and service from the staff has exceeded all our expectations. They arranged our pickup and drop off from the airport for only $38USD for two people and that price includes to and from airport which is far cheaper than any taxi or grab. We also had gotten them to arrange our Halong bay trip which was absolutely amazing and everything was outstanding and arranged perfectly. From start to finish when we arrived the staff were incredible. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped with everything you could need. On returning from Halong bay, we were offered an upgrade to the suite with late check out for our flight the following morning which was a lovely perk for our last night to Vietnam. Food quality was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Variety of both traditional Vietnamese dishes and western foods. The hotel itself is centrally located and pretty easier to get to anywhere in Hanoi that you need to see. The staff also give you a map of the city and point out places of interest, including the best coffee and lunch spots. We have travelled a lot and this is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in and we would highly highly recommend it to others.
