"This hotel is somewhere I've stayed before. Usually sound & reliable. This time I booked & prepaid only to find, quite by chance, that they had effectively cancelled my booking WITHOUT FORMALLY TELLING ME so they could carry out a long term refurbishment. On the day of my supposed check-in the place was a building site. I'd had the foresight to rebook at another place so that at least I had somewhere to stay at the start of my 3 month visit to Hanoi. "I really enjoyed my stay at Prince 2, its not pretentious but has all the basics correct. Bedding great bathroom great enough space. No lift may cause some angst."
