"overall stay very pleasant, front desk staff friendly upon arriving where as when leaving we were not asked if our stay was pleasant just a simple info that our invoice would be sent by mail. Restaurant staff very good and food very good and fairly priced though we did stay during the week Tues to Thurs so less traffic but pleasant. Pool area is mainly for children which is great for family fun and activities, we did not mind all that fun. Rooms are clean but simple but then again you dont live...

"If you ever wanted to sleep in a museum this is the place. I’ve never purposely spent time in a lobby but this one is just so inviting. So much character and detail everywhere. It’s truly an awe inspiring stay. "

"Not a 5 star resort. Close. Carpet worn out badly throughout hallways. Bathroom door repainted 20 times? Carpet bunched in room. Housekeeping didn’t check if alarm clock set for 2 am (good prank). Pump on shampoo broken (again housekeeping should have caught it). Not worth $500 for a view of the front driveway. Positives: beautiful property. Secluded location. Fantastic staff. Lots of amenities. But not a 5 star resort. "
