"Very nice place, walkable to Downtown Canmore. Could be cleaner (walls and fans dirty) but the beds were super comfy!"

"We were 10 in total, from 72 years old to 6 months old. The space was great, the rooms are spread over 3 levels, with great deal of independence. The main level had a spacious kitchen, living area with wood burning fireplace and big table sit and enjoy a meal together. The communication with Katie was great, always willing to help.My only concern is that the driveway is sloped and when we arrived it had snowed in heavily. "Attention, les sanitaires sont à l'extérieur, à quelques mètres du chalet. Les douches sont payantes : 1 dollar pour 3 minutes. La propreté du chalet était bien, mais pas celle des sanitaires ! Nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour en famille, avec des soirées autour du feu mémorables. En général, nous avons apprécié l'expérience de ces deux nuits au chalet. Nous en sommes repartis avec de bons souvenirs !"

"My husband and daughter and I stayed here when she participated in the Golden Ultra which had stages both in Golden and at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. It was a very convenient location. The kitchen was well set up for cooking and we enjoyed relaxing in the great room between events. The bathrooms have been recently updated and the finishings make it seem like home. We would definitely come again."

"My family and I stayed two nights to celebrate an early Christmas. Absolutely beautiful place with a fantastic floor plan. All of us aged from 2-58 loved staying here. Great location very close to the ski lodge. Very picturesque view from every window as well as the hot tub on the deck. We all highly recommend this place for your next getaway!!"

"My husband and I enjoyed the homey and well thought out decor of the Marten’s Nest.This location was very accessible for those who are wary of icy stairs and within 5 min walking distance to the Alpine Lodge.The owners were very sweet and responsive. The scenery was beautiful and relaxing but the place didn’t work out for me. I went there for 2 night stay with my family for my birthday. We check in late at the place and we enter, the door going to the patio was broken and anyone could had gotten inside. I called the emergency maintenance multiple times so that they could fix the door, but no answer. So we ended up...

"Lovely rustic and cozy home, perfect for a big family staycation! The open concept and ample beds made it spacious and welcoming. Located just 5 minutes from the village, it’s super convenient. We enjoyed the working sauna, which was a great perk. However, the house has many stairs and no washroom on the upper floor where the living room and kitchen are, so it might not be ideal for elderly guests. We also could have used a few more garbage bags. Overall, a wonderful spot for a family getaway!"
