had an amazing stay! the staff were great, the room was cozy and we had such a pretty view of the city! it was such an ideal location because you’re in the heart of downtown toronto, so everything was of walking distance! we were a 5 minute walk from the Eaton Centre, and there was so many good restaurants around the area! we will definitely book here again!

I was traveling with my grandmother upon arrival there was someone to open the door with a smile. The lobby was beautiful decorated with Christmas tree and gingerbread houses competitions. The front desk staff are very friendly and the warm cookie on check in was amazing. Our option to have a lower floor room was very nice as I don’t like elevators lol. The room was very nice, large tv and very comfortable bed with great pillows. Bathroom was updated and the water pressure in the shower was great. After a few nights our exit experience was just as easy and very quick. Highly recommend this location.

Weird experience. I feel like I should do two different reviews. The hotel is clearly in a reno phase and the first half of our stay we were in a room where the heater was loud and blew cold air and the fridge was more of a freezer and we likely never would have stayed here again. Fortunately, the bathtub leaked so we asked to move. The room we moved to felt like a proper Hilton? DoubleTree room. The front desk staff were great.

I was locked in my room, the door was jammed and I had trouble opening it to get out. A staff had to use their key to let me out. I felt scared, the duty manager refunded the rest of my stay but after a lengthy delay. I checked out early and got no compensation for the inconvenience
