"The hotel "does the job" of a cheap night in London. The entrance is a hairdresser which is very confusing. The reception staff was clueless. They asked for ID saying they were keeping it. After a few questions, I understood he was not keeping it... There was no bodysoap in the room. The lights were on in the first room I got in so not great for the environment and it smelt of cigarette. We asked to change and the second room was fine. "Basic but comfortable although my room was very warm, although it was 24 degrees outside. I had to prop open the sash window as it would sometimes close itself and when I tried using the ceiling fan the whole thing shook and looked like it was about to fall off ,so I switched that off. Aside from that staff were friendly, room was dated but clean and breakfast was good."
