Food options in the carnival cafe could be a tad bit better (some stuff needs to be cooked a lil longer or fresher and the chefs tables could use people who can speak/understand english better). "The rooms we had was very large with a large living area and basic kitchen amenities. The bedroom was also large with a huge bathroom and plenty of storage space. The only shortfall was the rooftop pool and bar. The pool seemed neglected and was green on 2 days we were there. There were only 4 lounge chairs, 2 of which were not usable due to ripped bed and when we asked for an umbrella they finally found 1 that wasn't broken on the 3'rd try. We are hoping that the fact they were updating the...

"This is an extremely large property for those who have trouble walking I would not recommend. We dined at a few restaurants and the services and drinks were great excellent. Breakfast options at main dining halls were plentiful. Beach is a bit rocky for my liking. Received the best most relaxing massage on the beach from a masseuse who I met on the beach and walked about 6minutes or so to an area that massages were taking place—-best part you can great deal with the locals for your massage."

"I stayed at Marina ElCid in July, 2024 with my family and parents. It has the best staff and food an all inclusive resort can offer. We really enjoyed the time there. The shows, restaurants and service were excellent. Only downside is that it has very poor cell phone reception and offers only two wifi login codes per room. Wifi should be free by now for all devices."
