"Stayed at the Royal Haciendas over our Spring Break 2025. Nice hotel, great service. Cleanliness was excellent. In my opinion, they are limited on dining options, but buffet food is good. Never very busy, which was good. We always found chairs at the pool. Some good activities, and the kids loved the pools. The beach needs some help, but the resort acknowledges it. Very safe and quiet resort. Almost too quiet. Everything outside closes at 9 pm. Loved the movies by the beach, and the nightly...

"Just spent a week at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. The resort itself was excellent from the staff, the rooms, the activities, and the food selection. The beach is not the best that’s for sure but that is something out of the resorts control. Highly recommend the a la carte restaurants. This resort does not deserve the negative reviews it receives. "

"We liked the two different adult areas. Our Expedia conceige was Valerie. She was quick to get transportation to and from room. She also expedited two different times when door was locked and not working. She also was able to have ice delivered to our room quickly vs calling the front desk. She was very professional and helped withe dinner reservations. She seemed to go above and beyond to assist us with our needs"

" Booked this property last minute, got on a flight down there, took a taxi to the property only to find out they canceled the reservation. I never received any notification and it took me contacting them to have them tell me they cancelled it. Here we stand, a family of 5 with no place to stay. Had to take a taxi back to the airport and get booked on the soonest flight back home. I would not recommend staying here, and Expedia was no help either, all they said was “sorry for the inconvenience”. "
