"The entertainment was amazing! Always something to do! Activities, sports and crafts for most ages. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the Viva Vibe staff. Ugh but the food…SO FLAVORLESS!! Definitely wasn’t expecting 5 star quality at an all inclusive but the food was a 3 out of 10. Honestly felt like going into the kitchen and help them put some flavor into the most basic foods!! Very disappointed with the food."

"My stay the The Reef was excellent, the resort was clean , food delicious and most importantly the staff was amazing! The only thing I feel they could improve if the roof was a bit rough in a couple spots but sure due to weather this can be tricky to maintain in perfect condition. Overall I would return "

"My girlfriend and I went there for a Weeknd getaway and the first thing we noticed was security guard at the gate. We felt very safe. The reception area was very cozy and impressive. The facilities: restaurants, shopping store, the pool were clean and well organized. The room was a panoramic view to the ocean with a hot tub outside on the balcony, and it was excellent to enjoy it. You will like it there."

"This is the nicest resort (in the Cancun area) that we've ever stayed in! We've been to 7 others (in Cancun) and this was beyond our expectations. First off, the hotel is absolutely beautiful. "So far so good..Considering price as compared to other beachfront/ocean properties quite reasonable for services offered including restaurants pools, etc. Property needs some updating overall and addition of services and some standard amenities. Restroom additions closer to pool areas and beach areas would be helpful. Roving drink servers for pool bars & towels at each pool location would make life more pleasurable and convenient for guests. All in all we enjoyed stay and happy with our choice."

"Chable Maroma is a beautiful, special place. The grounds are spectacular, and the beach is the best in Riviera Maya. The food was incredible -fresh and delicious. Our daughter has celiac and the chefs and staff went out of their way to keep her safe. The villa was beautiful, large, and extremely clean. The spa was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff made us feel like family. We are counting the days until we can return."

"Beautiful resort. The more inclusive options are worth your time. We did the Maroma Beach/Catamaran excursion and it was so worth it. We saw a sea turtle, stingrays, and lots of fish. Also recommend the cenote tour but bring food and water! "

"I stayed here on a solo vacation last week. It was a great place, walkable to all the fun things in playa. The staff was amazing, the place was clean, and the room itself was great I would say the beach in that area of Playa del Carmen was not really swimable due to the rocks and boats. However the beaches near by offered more swim able areas. I’d totally stay here again. "

"We loved our stay at the Royal Haciendas! The kids club was a hit with our daughter, the games room was a popular place for our son and the swim up bar was the perfect spot for the parents! Food was great, staff were friendly and helpful. It was a windy week so we didn’t spend much time at the beach, but with so many swimming pool options, we didn’t miss it much (and the fact that you can see the ocean from the pools helps). Such a great family vacation spot! Thank you, Royal Haciendas!"

"After reading several other reviews, we were semi-skeptical, but we can't seem to understand where all those reviews came from! From the beginning of our trip to the very end, everything was wonderful. We loved our room, the service, the pool, the food, the staff. The only issues we came across were that there weren't outlets by the bed, there wasn't an option for streaming services on the TV and there wasn't a great mirror situation for getting ready. All of those things were very easy to overcome and overlook considering the amazing other things you get at this property. We will definitely look into returning!"
