"Great studio for those looking to a little oasis in Cozumel. The pool and outdoor area were great places to cool off during the day or cook up something on the grill. I was remote working during my stay and only a couple internet issues typical of the network in Cozumel. This place is outside of the touristy area, so great for a long term visit and close to Sams and 65th for shops. That said access to a car is helpful if you want to get to the beach clubs or ferry. "Beautiful property and nice, quiet neighborhood. For such a beautiful home, I would have expected some basics like cleaning supplies, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, also salt/pepper, oils for cooking, etc. The water was not safe drinking water and purifier made it taste salinated and terrible. Also, showers need to be cleaned better as they are full of mold. Pool needed to be cleaned and the nearby gym equipment was all broken. The transportation system to the beach does not include this...

"I highly recommend Casa Azanik. We had a party of 7 family members, but we could have accommodated so many more. The booking process was extremely efficient, and the concierge helped us book shuttles and activities. The manager and the daily caretakers helped us navigate Akumal wonderfully. Although we did eat at some local restaurants, our favorite meals were the ones prepared for us at the villa. The pool area right on the beach made snorkeling, kayaking, and relaxing in the pool and the ocean...

"We were stunned by the beauty inside and out. Well maintained and comfortable. The short walk to the lagoon was well marked and easy to follow. Snorkeling there was one of our favorite activities. It was farther to town than we had anticipated, and as we had 16 in our family group, it was a challenge to get around, but we quickly learned to use the local taxis and buses.
