"Older courtyard hotel with heated pool and jacuzzi in courtyard and sauna nearby. Many well maintained lounges around the pool with pool towels and cold water flavored with lemon available. Nice plantings in courtyard and in front entrance area. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the night receptionist. Breakfast boxes mediocre with a lot of carbs and sugar items. Appreciate the hot coffee and hot tea and some fresh fruit available in the breakfast room. "

"Yeah, I would say nice try but that is not the case. The Avalon puts its name on classic mid sixties Palm Springs building, charges a high price and calls it a day. The bathroom is like something from a Motel 6: Old tub/shower, mean towels. My room rate was $299. plus all the other fees. I could not find the switch to turn off the patio/balcony light and the front desk explained they could send someone up to unscrew the lightbulb. The lighting in the room comprises solely of 2 hanging...

"Wonderful property on the inside! When you first drive up, you’re like oh no but then you get inside and it’s like your own little oasis! With only 16 rooms you definitely feel like you’re at home and very welcomed! Breakfast is pretty good too! We went for our mini moon and can’t wait to go back again! Love this place!!"
