The property is a bit outdated. Our Ac did not work correctly. The walls are thin so it was noisy. Kids were unattended and running up and dow the hallways. You could hear conversations in the very next room. We did like the location and the bed was really comfy.

Other than the convenient shop and one cleaning lady who was very nice, the rest of the staff I spoke to were very rude and unfriendly. All other MGM properties have excellent staff. I can not understand why Excalibur staff are so rude? Do they not earn a livable wage at their jobs? Why take it out on the very people who pay to stay, pay to play and pay to dine. All the other MGM properties I have stayed, I have had loads of fun, but I didn't feel welcome at all in Excalibur. I don't understand why The Ex gets a bad rap in terms of the facility being old and dirty tho? My room was clean and comfy during my entire stay. I may return to The Ex, as a last resort, but I'll choose from other properties first as I know I'll feel welcome in those resorts.

A fun place to stay on the strip, with enough distance from the busiest part of the strip to get away from the traffic and chaos. The whole resort is very clean and well managed with friendly staff. Only issue I had was that the room was a bit too humid for my comfort, but I'm from a very dry climate so that might have been just a me thing. Other than that I really loved staying there and will probably do so again in the future.

We stayed here about 23 years ago so decided to stay again. Hasen’t changed much. The rooms have been updated & are clean. For an old hotel they’ve kept it in decent shape. Really comfy beds. Great slots. Great service getting drinks brought to us.
