" This was our first stay with SLS Playa Mujeres and it was exceptional! The staff, food and room were the best we’ve seen in the Cancun area. We have previously stayed at TRS, Majestic, Catalonia, Le Blanc, and Paradisus- and SLS definitely had the best food overall. We really enjoyed the elite benefits. From check in to check out, our stay went nearly seamlessly. Santiago at the elite check in area was so kind and personable. Vincente brought us our bags and took the time to show us our room and all the perks that came with the elite king rooftop room! The only hiccup we experienced was a dinner reservation that was made, and the restaurant ended up being closed. We were not notified of the closure and didn’t end up getting to do the hibachi experience. The staff was accommodating and was able to book us elsewhere. When it comes to the food, I honestly cannot understand any negative reviews. The food is exceptional. The steak house in particular had amazing cuts of meat that we have not been able to experience at other resorts. the menu at twiggy was fresh and delicious. Our server Oswardo at twiggy even remembered our drink orders days later. The service at the restaurants was fast and efficient, even during dinner time. Room service was also prompt- arriving at the exact estimated time. The Mexican restaurant felt like its own tailored experience. "We spent our anniversary here for a nice long kid free extended weekend and it didnt disappoint. The staff was so nice and attentive. The pools were always clean. Lots of seating around and a good mix of the party people and ones who wanted to lounge. I loved all the options for food and miss that breakfast buffet. Definitely missing it but already looking into our next trip."
