My last stay here. Rooms need fresh caulking, new knobs, handles, door hinges need tightening, and plain TLC. Couldn’t sleep due to flashing thermostat had to put towels to cover light. Never any fish at fisheria always saying to come early cause it sells out. Tried to order room service they never answer at night and when they did the milk was spoiled, asked for lactose free milk from area and said they didn’t have any until I pulled out $200 pesos they then brought out. 5 staff members always knocking on door first day for random things like if our tv has channels or if the temp was ok or if I needed anything and 4 different on second day… I’m like if I need something I’ll call… what if I didn’t answer would they have just came in so after the second day I asked for a do not disturb sign and eliminated unwanted staff in room. Frost desk gets irritated if you ask for change to break big bills for tips so get some beforehand if you are a tipper. I appreciate Ely massage therapist, Miguel from pool area, Leydy from buffet, Paola in crepes, Eliceo in buffet…pretty much the only reason we would keep returning and am greatful for the past years.

When we checked in, we upgraded the room. It was already after 3 PM so you would think the room will be ready, but it wasn’t. We had to wait until 445 to get into the room. Both TVs did not work. We could not drain the hot tub. They did fix one TV but didn’t even bother to look at the other. There was black mold on the curtain. Definitely was not that cleanly and room service only made the beds didn’t bring new towels nor clean up the room at all the staff at the pool and breakfast. We’re good overall I don’t think I would stay here again.

We had a lovely time at the First Americana Condessa Cancun. My name is Zachary and my wife and I stayed at FACC in October. FACC has a good selection of restaurants and places to lounge. The beach is absolutely beautiful the sand is soft and the water is clear and clean. The pools are large and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The temperature in the rooms was comfortable and the staff was diligent about cleaning the room regularly. The staff was also extremely hospitable. Nadia made an amazing impression on us. She was so kind and brought us drinks everyday even when it was raining and wee were hard to find. Joshua also was extremely welcoming. By far this was the best spa experience I’ve ever had at a resort. It’s worth going to the spa several times. The drinks were great especially if you know what to ask for most of the bar tenders make a great mango daiquiri. Overall we had such a pleasant experience. The food was as average… at least the day time food was. The ceviche spot was delicious but most of the other lunch and breakfast options felt like the flavor was dumbed down for tourists. The dinner didn’t disappoint the steakhouse and the avocado moose at the Mexican restaurant was divine. Im not super into shows but FACC had one of the best Micheal Jackson impersonators I’ve ever seen. I thought I was at a MJ concert. Ultimately the lack of excitement I feel surrounding the food is the only reason I wouldn’t go back, every other component really met our satisf

We loved staying here! It’s a beautiful property and the location of the beach to the pools and room are so convenient! Staff was wonderful and our fav restaurants were of course the buffet, the Mexican and the Italian restaurants. Loved all the specialty drinks at the restaurants too - the dessert show at Italian and the Mexican with the scorched brullee and the fire for the avocado mousse is the little extras we love!!!

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for his birthday weekend. We had such a lovely experience and have decided we will be back! There are many dining options, and the entertainment was amazing! Joshua, Celeste and Miguel were so cordial and attentive at the buffett. I really dont have anything negative to say. The seafood at the "cevicheria" was incredible too. My husband and I felt so welcomed and every interaction with the staff was incredebly pleasent! On our last day we tried the spa, where our Massage therapist, Minerva and Luis ensured we went back home fully relaxed. So far, this hotel has the best resort food Ive had thus far. During the few times we left the hotel, taking the bus right outside was convenient and reliable. We felt extremely safe at all times, and enjoyed exploring the area. I cannot wait to be back here soon!

The best all-inclusive food I ever head. Exceptional service and hospitality. Very clean and beautiful facilities. The only drawback were there high waves, which prevented us from going into the ocean.

Hola, comenzaré mi comentatio diciendo que el personal es muy amable y servicial, nos ha gustado mucho los servicios y amenidades que ofrecen alredor de las instalaciones del hotel, desde abundante y deliciosa comida y postres hasta shows de espectaculos muy vistosos, los restaurantes de especialidades, las albercas muy amplias. Quizas el unico punto que yo mencionaria, es en el area de la alberca, algunos camastros deberian ya ser dados de baja porque, el recubrimiento ya esta muy suelto, y al estar recostado uno se sume y los tubos de soporte del camastro molestan en el cuerpo, la yoalla que uno pone encima no es suficiente, insisto, no todos, algunos aun se encuentran en buen estado. Algo que me gustaría destacar es el servicio de los promotores de venta de la plataforma de tiempos compartidos, Rogelio, David y una chica que no recuerdo su nombre, fueron muy profesionales, aunque mi esposo y yo no concretamos ninguna compra, siempre nos trataron bien, entendieron nuestras circunstancias y fueron respetuosos y amables, haciendonos sentir comodos. Yo recomendaré ampliamente este hotel, ojalá mantengan este estandar en sus servicios. Tuvimos una muy agradable estancia. Gracias. Atentamente, Beatriz Tapia.

Overall it was a good time. What kept from being excellent is that the website is light on communication, some of the restaurants are closed on certain days, but it doesn’t state that anywhere. There’s a dress code at the restaurants, but again that’s not stated anywhere. There are also several places that are hazardous. There’s a random step/ramp in the main lounge area that’s not obvious. The pattern of the floor camouflages it and I’ve seen people trip. The floors on the main floor are constantly slippery, which causes them to sweep all the time. Even with that it is still slippery. The first step into the hot tub is awkwardly deep. (Sprained a toe) Navigating the pool areas are convoluted. The easiest way to get from one point to another is blocked by the buffet so you have to walk thru the hotel past the restaurants and out to the other side. Mind you these are minor things, but nice to know just the same.
