"Close to everything! Expedia was a bit confusing with the receipt saying the room was already paid for... It wasn't. Not a big deal, and definitely not Wabi Hostel's fault. "This was my first time staying at a hostel and I have to say it was an amazing experience :-) first of all the location was perfect because it was literally in the heart of the street of the center of Playa del Carmen. Right where all the restaurants, shops and the disco's are located. The hostel itself was like an enclosed jungle, even with a pool, very clean, very friendly staff and other guests. "Lovely property right on the beach. Much nicer than staying to a large American chain hotel. Staff were wonderful. Only one block from busy shopping and restaurant/bar street but totally quiet. All units have lovely balconies with a hammock. As others have said, the beach is small, but right next to larger beach area. Highly recommend!!!"

"The hotel rooms are clean , average accommodation , the pool is nothing special but we didn’t go to swim in the pool we went for the beach and it’s right out our room and awesome . Service was great at the beach club and hotel ,The hotel is close to everything you need . If your looking for good place to hangout at the beach this is it. I would use this hotel again . "

"Great Experience at Ocean Riviera Paradise We had a great stay at Ocean Riviera Paradise! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. The entertainment team stood out—they kept the energy high and ensured everyone was having fun with the wide range of activities offered throughout the day. Our butler Manuel was very helpful. He took care of our dinner reservations and regularly checked in to make sure we were having the best experience possible. Dining at the resort was a highlight. With multiple restaurants to choose from, there was something for everyone. The buffet had a variety of options throughout the day. The steakhouse was a standout—not only was the food delicious, but the staff also surprised me by singing for my birthday! The Italian restaurant had great food and service, Route 66 was perfect for late-night snacks and it’s open until 6 a.m., which is perfect after a night out at the club. Another favorite was the Privilege Lounge, where Don Alfredo made sure we felt welcome every time with top-notch service. The shuttle service around the resort was convenient, though extending service until at least midnight would be helpful, especially for guests returning from late-night spots to the Privilege or Eden sections. One area where the hotel could improve is the bar service. Across all bars—there were consisten waits for drinks. Overall, Ocean Riviera Paradise delivered a fun and relaxing vacation! "
