"we just stayed for one night at the Hostel in a bunk room that had a private bathroom and 3 beds, perfect for 3. It was a fabulous location, 1/2 block from the beach, 2 blocks from the ferry station and a block from the ado bus station - which is what we needed for an early airport departure. "Great staff! They were helpful and kept the property and rooms extremely clean. While this is ocean front property the beach is very small and not really swimable. I would not stay here with kids. But it was great for a couple just wanting to relax on the beach. The location is great. Dozens of dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. We walked everywhere and never felt unsafe."

"Really enjoyed my stay at Sofia. It’s right off 30th so not in the heart of the tourist area, but close enough to walk to it. Walmart is about a 10 min walk, as is 5th st and the bus station. Rooms are spacious, and pool area is nice with a good view of the sea. Staff is friendly. Would recommend. "

"The resort is located at Playa De Carmen which is far away from Cancun but close to Xcaret. The food was good. All staffs are friendly. We booked swim out room and is at the opposite of the pool. The pool was clean and quiet. "

"The resort was big with a lot of pools and facilities, plus entertaining programs, that kept us enjoying the whole week. This Resort is clean, staff are nice, area is beautiful, and beach is good. One week stay for my family including 2 kids was perfect. In an medical emergency, a doctor was present and arrived at our room in timely manner, and arranged everything very well for ambulance and hospital visit."

"Staying at Xcaret was simply one of the best vacations we have had! The entire service and staff was amazing, we had everything and anything when we needed it. Food was superb and delicious. Now being an all-inclusive aside from the all you can eat and drink it includes entrances to their amazing parks which are filled with so many thrills and adventures, from zip lines, snorkeling, rides to Isla Mujeres on a catamaran, driving jeeps in the jungles, swimming in rivers with crystal clear waters etc, etc. Words just don't do this place justice.
