Find Hotels with an Indoor Pool in Near North Side, IL

"This was our first time in Chicago and the location was perfect! The Red Line (we took to get to White Sox and Cubs games) was only 5 blocks or so away and there is a bus stop right at the corner of Michigan Ave and Ontario, making for easy commutes. Kids are 5, 9, & 10 and we ended up walking everywhere except the ballparks (Willis Tower, Navy Pier, Millennium Park) and there are so many restaurant options that are nearby. With the kids, we usually look for hotels with a free continental breakfast but didn’t miss it. The staff were all so helpful and kind during our stay, too! The gym was clean and quiet (even being right next to the pool), and the cardio equipment and weights were in good condition - better than most hotels that I’ve been at recently. The pool area has several tables and loungers, accommodating about 3 to 4 families at a time. There are several Walgreens and CVS stores that were convenient for cheap snacks, beverages, and any items you may have forgotten. The noise of the city doesn’t stop at night-we heard fire engine and police sirens often during the day and night. This didn’t disturb our sleep (on the 22nd floor) since we turn on music for ourselves and kids at nighttime anyway. "

"Had friends in town and booked a last minute stay to accommodate them. The hotel was nice, and a helpful staff. At one point we needed to call the front desk but couldn’t get the phone to work so we had to call from our phones which could be a safety concern if the circumstances were different. Overall, had a great time and it’s a beautiful location. "

"Quite, comfortable room and beds. Good hot breakfast. Unfortunately waiting for elevators was long and out of three elevators only two were in service. Fitness room should have more exercise equipment. "

"Great stay always at an Embassy suites. This place was busy lots of families. Some of the kids were loud until after midnight but that isnt the hotels fault. We had requested extra towels since we were traveling with 6 people and they never came. I should have know better and picked them up at the desk at check in."
