The room with a view of the river for which I paid extra was a misnomer because the trees obstruct the view, but the room faces a few lanes of traffic that makes it too noisy to get a good night sleep. "Walking distance to all the sightseeing places in Florence. Friendly staff, especially Lucia at the front reception office, makes the stay memorable! Lucia gave us a quick overview of Florence including the museums, the parks, the restaurants and the Christmas market. This is beyond my past experience at any hotels including Ritz and Conrad which are known for the high quality of services. Thank you!"
