"We were a group of 7, all adults this location was great. 10 to 15 walk to almost everything. The rental was great, and beautiful. This may have been my fault but we had an elderly person with us and it was a little hard for her to use the stairs, but we made it work. Both bedrooms are up on top of 3 floors. Middle flóor was the loft which had a sofa bed. Overall I thought the vrbo was great. Thank you"

"Hotel Alessandra is a gem in downtown Florence, just blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. It's nothing like an American chain hotel, but that's part of the charm. Lots of stairs (like everywhere in Italy) - 2 flights to the main entrance. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely and varied, rooms were large and comfortable. Great water pressure and decent sized shower. Be sure to have a drink on the terrace overlooking the river. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"Very nice property, great breakfast, happy hour, and staff. However it was very loud. There are a lot of bars and a club nearby. You could hear people outside until about 3am."

"I deducted a star because it area is very noisy for sleeping, I realized the hotel has no control over out side noise , however the noise went on all night until 4-5. "
