I wouldn’t call it a 4 star hotel. Brunch wasn’t great and the staff wasn’t very kind or helpful. Fine for a cheap stay but I wouldn’t stay again if I came back to Florence.

The room 5 was assigned to me, situated on the ground was really nice. The staff were friendly. The street and surrounding area were grungy and dark. Won’t recommend this hotel to a lone female traveler.

My wife and I had been there a couple of years ago and we knew what to expect. You're not disappointed with the staff or the room we were staying in, or breakfast. It is a 5-6 Minutes walk to the Florence train station Santa Maria novella.

It was exaclty what we wanted to stay at. Small, quaint, calm, 4 min from the train station so we didn't have to move the luggage far, and only 15 min walk from everypart of the old town.

Nice old world hotel with things you don't see anymore like robes and slippers in the room and room service. Its walkable to sights if you're in reasonably good shape. The hop on hop off bus stop is right around the corner.

Liked the stay so much we stayed an extra night! Beautiful linens, nice open air balcony, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. We booked this as it would be a late night arrival by train. our room was very spacious and clean The employees were very helpful and respectful The only negative thing I can say is that on two occasions the cleaning person or maid came in when we were in our room even when we had a do not disturb sign out. It was a little unsettling but no damage done
