"We stayed here for six nights in September & very happy with our decision to choose La Casa di Morfeo. The Santa Croce district location was close to the cathedral, the Bargello, and the Arno River. The hotel is quite small, more like a bed-and-breakfast than a full-scale hotel. It was charming and the staff were friendly and happy to help you with directions, calling cabs, making recommendations. Breakfast is basic but will get you started in the morning. The room was a decent size with a king bed & coffee service. The shower was really nice - four shower-heads mounted on the wall plus the overhead stream - a great way to end an exhausting day sightseeing! An excellent coffee/cocktail bar is across the street and a great neighborhood pizza spot is down the block (Caffe-Bistrot Malborghetto). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to those looking for a quiet, local neighborhood. "
