I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon. "The location was great and had easy access to the subway. The Statue of Liberty was only about a 15 minute walk. The hotel was very clean. The mattress was pretty uncomfortable, but not too bad for a short stay."
