The New Yorker is a charming older hotel. Although our room was a bit smaller than the one pictured in our reservation process, we managed, and I just enjoyed the energy of the place. It was so convenient to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again but would reserve a larger room.

The New Yorker is iconic. It offers a room that has predictable old school vibes. No fridge/microwave/space to move around and a little worn but, it's awesome! From the attentive front desk to the security the "elevator guardians" provide. Everyone on the staff was so very nice. The other guests were, too! NYC can be unpredictable--The New Yorker is not. Great price in Manhattan that is close to many popular attractions. Perfect for anything happening at MSG and within walking distance to Times Square. Definitely would stay, again. Huge kudos to all of the staff during NYC Marathon and David Gilmour weekend!! Bravo!

I enjoyed staying at the New Yorker because I had heard about it my whole life. It’s like a part of New York’s history. The lobby is beautifully decorated, the elevators are very fast, and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated but they do show signs of being old. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and were very pleased with the experience.

The New Yorker is lovely but old. The main issues was the tiny bathroom and there is no free water. Every hotel should provide 2 free bottles of water per day. The shower head in terms of height stopped just above my wife’s head and she’s 5ft 6. The toilet was awkward to use and the window was pretty first and full of condensation meaning you couldn't really enjoy the view. Overall I would stay again because the staff were really awesome and the hotel has a lovely feeling about it plus its in a great location for New York Time Square visitors. Overall rating is OK 👍
