"This was a birthday getaway mixed with some shopping. I initially booked another hotel in the Brickell area but after seeing reviews and the fact that Hotel East is literally attached to a mall I made the change. I booked a high floor Corner king room and received exactly what I booked. This was also my first booking after becoming an Expedia VIP member and the hotel honored everything that expedia said I would receive without the need to feel like I was begging, this was a big plus for me. There are a lot of things to do within walking distance such as dinner at Sexy Fish but the hotel has excellent offerings as well even just drinks at the rooftop bar Sugar is a great time. The late checkout is also very convenient giving you the ability to leave as late as 3PM I will definitely be back again."
