"I stayed at this property for 2 nights prior to catching a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale. The best aspect of the property are the very nice people who manage/operate it and the very close proximity to the beach. It is an older property, but NOT "run down". It is obvious they take pains to keep it looking as nice as possible. The customer service stood out for its friendliness and professionalism; the staff was always willing to help and communicated fluently in both Spanish and English, making everything easier. "This property sustained significant damage from the hurricanes but they are expeditiously making all necessary repairs and improvements. The property is probably absolutely beautiful when the foliage and landscaping is in tact. The pathway from our specialty sun deck second-floor unit was a quick super short walk to the magnificent beach. On-site, office staff is very, very friendly and accommodating. The studio was adorable and tastefully decorated ~ appeared to be new and excellent condition....

The rooms and property itself, could benefit from a revamp; however, I appreciate the reasonably priced accommodations for a property that is so convenient to many major attractions. My only gripe is that my past two stays, I’ve seen the Orlando police dispatched to the hotel, which is unsettling. Last time for a fight in the parking lot, this time I’m unsure of the details. "
