Houseboats in Florida

"What an absolute disaster! I booked this boat and I called the number no less than six times could not contact with anyone. Hotels.com did try to help me they could not contact anyone. So at 6 o’clock at night I was left with no place to stay and no one contacted me. I am sitting here the next day and no one has ever reached out to me. I lost my money. Hotels.com only gave me a $25 credit."

"The property wasn’t the one in the advertisement…. It was advertised as “the Gyp-Sea” but it was actually “the last Hoorah! It was not very clean , the toilet was broken, there was things stored in the bathroom and also in the shower , so we were unable to even go in either! The loud generator on the boat was almost out of gas. The 4 workers that took 2 trips to get us on the boat were the only good thing about this . They went above and beyond, with what they had to work with ! We left and had...

"Was just a teaser initial trip to Key West but staying on the water was awesome! Beautiful views and great amenities. Kevin and Captain Philip were great throughout the whole process including great local recommendations! One thing to note, if you are 6’ plus, will need to watch your head and the steps downstairs require concentration. As a shorter person (barely 5’!) it all worked perfectly for me! Look forward to staying again and taking the boat out next time! "

"The place is not what they said it was. The boats are not clean. No working kitchen or bathroom. In my opinion very sketchy to say the least. Do not book you will be very disappointed.. The local law enforcement is looking to talk to the owner. That is what a local sheriff’s deputy had said to us. What a joke! Don’t do it."

"It was my fault that I booked it in Christmas time. It was freezing cold in there, but that was my fault. It was great. We had a fun time. The TV did not work. We tried everything. Maybe just the batteries in the remote but overall it was a great place. It would’ve been better if I booked it in the summer thank you for everything."

"This was a perfect adventure. We had the best time fishing off the back of the boat, enjoying the top deck view and sitting area. The interior is just like the photos beautiful. The beds are luxurious! Bathrooms nicely appointed. Recommend this . You'll be very pleased."

"My friend and I absolutely loved staying on this sweet houseboat!!! It is charming and has everything you need for a relaxing stay! The sunset, sunrise and stars were beautiful. The owners are fantastic! Everything was explained well and communication before and after the stay was great! If we ever make it back to Florida, we will plan our trip around this VRBO!! It’s perfect!!! "

"Super fun idea! Be aware of a few drawbacks. The toilet is near the entrance door with no door or partition. There is a public toilet nearby, but was locked. If we had access to that our stay would have been near perfect. I was aware of the toilet issue from another review, but didnt plan to have belly issues while there. There is noise from the freeway. Check in and out are tighter than typical. Price is right. Would be great for a launch id think!"
