Property is better than the reviews would indicate, housekeeping did a great job on the room. $10 self parking was convenient, but there was a lack of on site dining options. Only a basic food menu available.

Everyone was nice and polite. But there was no Heat for the entire hotel. Attention was brought to the managers and all they had to say was it's hot in miami. Miami was in the 60s and cool. And Regardless if it's hot or cold we as the customers should have a right to change temperatures in our room. We pay our money to be comfortable.

Double tree hotel has alwaty been one of my favorite hotels of choice whenever I travel to the United States, mainly Fort Launderdale. My one night stay at the Hotel's Miami Airport & Convention Centre prior to my cruise did not meet my expectations. My husband and I waited for over two hours at the airport on arrival in Miami for the hotel shuttle which never showed despite contacting the hotel to inform that we had arrived and had been waiting. We subsequently had to catch Uber. Additionally, the lighting in the junior suite was poor and there was no hand soap available in the vanity area of the bathroom. The food in the bar restaurant needs improvement and is costly. However the complimentary breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was very good. Based on my experience I would give the hotel a below average rating.of 2.

Guest just blaming the doors. Perhaps the doors should be quiet. Transportation was none. The hotel staff rip you off to take you to a place like Walmart by charging US$30 for that trip and I paid US$12 with an Uber to return to the hotel. The shuttle to the airport on my return I came down the driver said he can only take two more but because he saw two other people come after me without suitcase he took them and drive off. I will never stay at your hotel again because there are lots of other hotels close by. No breakfast was included and I saw that when I book on Expedia.

When I check in the front desk Ita was rude and unprofessional. She didn’t offered me to hold my luggage’s to go and eat because she said not rooms are ready . I wait super long . Secondly when I finally check in my room the shower water was broken and water was running loudly all day . I talked to Adrian at the front desk and he told me there is nothing he can do about it . I told him the water is to loud and I won’t be able to sleep and he replied he does not care. Third no bed lines for my sofa bed. Horrible service and experience I couldn’t sleep all night due to the waste of water running all night.
