"Had a wonderful night staying at the Douglas Fir. Rooms were big and clean and the hotel was quiet. Only wish is that the pool was open in the morning so we could have gone for a swim before leaving! But the kids play one made up for the pool not being open! "

"Basic comfortable hotel. The kids LOVED the pool and waterslide, highlight of our stay for sure. The continental breakfast was a nice touch - would have appreciated some fruit or something. Our room was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again. "

"We stayed here for the kiddie pool for our toddlers but it was far too cold for them. They keep it at the same temp as the other pool so they lasted less than 10mins. The place itself is nice and they are doing some upgrades. But i wouldnt pay rhe extra to stay here again until my kids are older. It really is a.shame because none of.the toddlers ir babies lasted in the pool very long and when i asked them if its usually warmer they told me its always set the same as the other pool."
