"We didn't read the reviews before reserving. When I walked into the cabin, I immediately second guessed our choice. It is very rustic. The windows and coverings are old. The locks for the door are terrible. There are only 2 outlets in the whole cabin. The bathroom was long and skinny. We had to slide past the sink to get to the toilet and shower. There was maybe 1 1/2' between the sink and the wall! I woke up in the middle of the night to scratching. I turned the light on and saw a...

"There is nothing around the area. Bring your own food, blankets (they rent them) anything you can think of using for being comfortable. I loved it. This place is designed to live like in the woods with a bit of comfort, but you make the comfort. Amazing place by the river, with excellent Northern Lights view, full moon view and amazing mountains around. Totally recommend for anyone looking to experience camping with comfort. "I was happily surprise on how cozy and nice the tent was. The location was nice and closed to Calgary for a quick and restful getaway. Given the cold weather the heater really helped. I wish the weather would of been nicer but never the less, we will be back later in the summer. Erika"
