"We stayed at Sandman hotel for a 4-day ski trip.The location of the hotel is pretty convenient, and it's right by the highway. The drive from Sandman to Whistler on weekends can be hectic, so I would recommend you to leave Squamish by 7AM or earlier. There are a reasonable amount of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The room we stayed is spacious and well-supplied. The continental breakfast included was average, and I wish it had more protein options than hard boiled eggs"

As the hotel perhaps was full, my room was quite far away. As I'm older and had 2 big suitcases, it would have been nice to have a room closer. I was rather exhausted."
