"Visited for our 32nd wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. Booked a classic double room but when we arrived were informed that they upgraded us to an executive room which was really large and immaculately prepared. We had use of the spa facilities if needed for additional cost but free use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna for 1 hour per day which made for a relaxing time after a long walk around York. "Loved the unique features - a free snack pantry (sweets, drinks, fruit etc.), traditional record player in each room and records to pick and choose from, quirky but tasteful decorations. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable, clean, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with easy to use push button bath/shower (no trying to work out which knob or lever to push or pull!), very comfortable underfloor heating in the bathroom. Lovely, comfortable lounge and bar and excellent restaurant."

"Our stay was lovely the staff was so attentive our kettle wasn’t working in our room so we called reception and they fixed it immediately, there was a few different places where there was dust and the shower floor and water marks on the shower door but overall very clean "

"Lovely hotel and stay after a bumpy start due to the tv not working and unable to get wifi but we were moved into a different room which was great and had a bigger bed. The member of staff was great and resolved the issue immediately "

"Three nights stay - done a few now. Unfortunately, and not the hotels fault a particularly noisy neighbour this time around. Finally gave up trying to sleep at 3am and visited reception. I was given another room to get my head down for a few hours. Grateful for that - shame it happened due to some unruly guests. "

"The team at the Malmaison in Leeds are amazing. The bar team welcomed me and my little dog as if we were coming home and looked after us so well after a long day in the office. Small but lovely clean room was kitted out with a dog bed, bowls and treats. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Leeds on business. The other guests were all lovely as well! Thank you Team Malmaison."
