"The annexe was beautifully clean - carpet in the main area rather than the hard flooring that many properties have these days - (although I understand why as it's probably easier to clean than carpet) however, that made it very cosy & so warm. "Excellent apartment in a really convenient location for York city centre. only minutes walk from the city walls. Apartment was really clean, comfortable & well equipped, one of the most pleasant properties we have stayed in."

"Disappointing. The bathroom fittings needed some attention. Sink basin stopper did not work. Toilet seat loose. Light switch chain broken. Light bulb out and a hole in one of the hand towels. The hotel Wi-Fi did not work in our room. Our mobile phones registered ‘no service’ in our room. No white sugar or decaf coffee supplied to our room. Overall staff were very friendly and polite. "

"Great reception nothing was too much trouble. Parked the car and able to walk easily round town and beaches. Rooms cleaned daily, and for a change real coffee in the room. Microwave if required. We’ll be back next year all being well. "
