"The location was not so good for us as there was a nightclub nearby that didn't have soundproofing as we could hear the music and singing until it finished which happened to be between 2am - 3am, especially as they would choose the last song to encourage their clientele to sing along. Even though we kept the window closed we were still kept awake with the sound. We chose the hotel for the convenience of the location in relation to the railway station and the bridge over to the Brewery Wharf...

"See below list of issues: Damaged & dirty furniture in the bedroom. Mattress needed replacing. Bathroom - dated shower, toilet not flushing, extractor dirty and damaged. Emergency signage, non existent. The hotel reception over charged us with no apology, they took our credit card away from reception and ~I demand they haver to return with it. "

"It is near to city centre in a quiet road. Large Victorian/Edwardian house. However the bedrooms are incredibly small, and dividing walls are not soundproof. I am a size 16 and 5'6" tall but cd barely fit into the shower. I didnt bother. Good fryup for breakfast but no fruit offered, no meusli, no plain yoghurt"

"Stayed for one night to break up our journey. Our room was neat, clean and comfortable and we slept well in the comfortable bed The A/C gave us good control over the room temperature. The bathroom/shower was good and the breakfast wonderful. All was very much appreciated, thank you, and we would thoroughly recommend this accommodation."
