"The location was not so good for us as there was a nightclub nearby that didn't have soundproofing as we could hear the music and singing until it finished which happened to be between 2am - 3am, especially as they would choose the last song to encourage their clientele to sing along. Even though we kept the window closed we were still kept awake with the sound. We chose the hotel for the convenience of the location in relation to the railway station and the bridge over to the Brewery Wharf...

"See below list of issues: Damaged & dirty furniture in the bedroom. Mattress needed replacing. Bathroom - dated shower, toilet not flushing, extractor dirty and damaged. Emergency signage, non existent. The hotel reception over charged us with no apology, they took our credit card away from reception and ~I demand they haver to return with it. "

"One night stay room only which was very comfortable. Hotel is a grand old dame which is slightly tired in places but was very clean and with a warm welcome. The car park access should be better signposted when approaching from front of hotel. We did not experience the bistro nor bar."

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help if there was anything I needed. The only issue was certain things in the room for when you are away with business were slightly lacking. There was no iron ironing board in your room. For the life of me, I could not get the heating to work and it was a cold night so...
