"Hotel Bijou, is excellent. It is a beautiful and well maintained facility. I especially appreciated the night staff who checked me in and took care of my needs on 12-16-24. "The location is superb! Really close to Union Square (less than a minute's walk) but much quieter. The bed was the comfiest hotel bed I think I've ever slept in! Room 501 is our recommendation- worth the extra over a standard room. It was so quiet and spacious, for a San Francisco hotel. I've read reviews where people complained about the breakfast, but seriously it was fine. Choice of pastries, fruit, coffee, tea and juice- enough to start you off for the day. If people dont like it they have the choice to go out and buy it, but we thought it was perfectly sufficient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, every one. We would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to anyone. "
