"Very cute victorian hotel. Many of the fixtures seem as old as the hotel, but this is what gives it character. The rugs are old, but look original. If you are expecting modern amenities, this is not for you, but if you are looking for a hotel with character, true victorian decor, beautiful lobby, friendly staff, and afternoon tea and sherry, this is great!. Easy access to many areas of the city and also safe and relatively quiet. "

"This hotel is mostly okay, but with a few minor tweaks would be great! I'm so glad they finally have a restaurant again. However, I am unsure how many business travelers need an 11-course tasting menu dinner every night. I can't believe that's all they offer! Yes, there are a lot of walkable restaurants in the neighborhood, which I did enjoy instead. When the weather is rainy, cold, and windy, the last thing I want to do is leave the hotel and would have liked to have an easy a la carte option...

"Great little hotel for a quick stay. The room was small but clean and even had a microwave and minifridge. It is an older building, but that doesn't bother us at all. The lady who checked us in was amazing and exceedingly helpful. We would definitely stay again!"
