"We enjoyed our stay very much. The location in January was quiet, safe, and we enjoyed being delivered by water taxi right to the hotels dock on the canal. Fun experience! The hotel staff arranged our transport for us to and from the airport and the cruise dock. Expensive but as my husband is disabled, worth it for the ease. The breakfast was nice and we had dinner in their small restaurant a few nights. It was nice we didn’t need to go out of the hotel after very long days. We would stay there...

"Very difficult to communicate with the manager and to get our key. We had to stand outside the hotel for 15 minutes until she finally answered. You should have a warning that there are many stairs… difficult for older people with heavy bags. The beds were horrible. Luckily there were extra blankets that we could put under us to make it more comfortable. No soap… again luckily we carry extra just in case. "

"We all love this hotel. We stayed in November and the rooms were warm and cozy. The breakfast was perfect. It was a short walk to everywhere but tucked into a lovely little avenue. There was a bus strike but the hotel warned us and made arrangements for a water taxi which came right up to the hotel’s waterfront entrance. "

"I have been to Venice a handful of times and never was satisfied with where I stayed until this past trip. This hotel is incredible. If you are unable to haul your luggage up steps then it is not for you. But I would argue that if you are hauling that much luggage, you shouldn't be traveling around Europe. The gentleman hosting the hotel was extremely helpful and proud of the property. The rooms were very very spacious. Bathroom could seem small for some. I am 6'6" and had no problem using the...
