"From the start it was 5 star quality customer service. They let us check in early and drop our luggage in the room so we could enjoy our day. The room was very clean. We used the provided house slippers and enjoyed the complimentary water and made tea using the kettle and tea bag provided. The concierge was very helpful. He let us know that the hotel had complimentary water taxi to Murano and we took advantage. We did go on our own to Burano and had a lovely complimentary breakfast . Only issue we had was having to leave window open to get the room to cool down but there was no screen so we got bitten up a bit. Overall would stay here again! "

"Very Central location close to Piazza San Marco without being in the thick of it. Quiet at night but located on well lit street. A clean and comfortable room, air conditioned (needed for the night we were there) Superb breakfast offerings. Excellent customer service. Would definitely stay here again."

"Really spacious hotel room with new facilities. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower was great albeit a bit small and there were large and quality towels provided. All the staff from the receptionists to the housekeepers and breakfast staff were lovely. Standard Italian breakfast was good but no variety day to day except for the cakes. Excellent location as well, walking distance to everything including bus stops. Good soundproofing so it wasn't too loud despite being in a busy alley. Only minor downfall is the paper cups provided in the room instead of real mugs/wine glasses. "

"One feels like a movie star arriving in a taxi boat that docks next to the hotel entrance. Hotel has great old world style and charm. 1 minute walk to St Marks Square. Breakfast staff were helpful. Nice buffet with bubbly prosecco available as a nice start to the day. Staff were pleasent and a good concierge service. Only thing that lets it down was no view whatsoever from our room. "
