"Very classy boutique hotel with an eight minute walk to St Mark's square. Not in a busy area but located on one end of a small open square with outdoor bars, a farmer's market, and fine dining nearby. Very nice common areas within this old palace, and breakfast was included in the price. No gym, but in Venice you will get lots of steps in."

"The staff at this hotel are very friendly and give wonderful recommendations. They even suggested a faster and cheaper route to the airport than what was suggested on Google Maps! Only downside is the lack of an elevator, but the staff did help us take our bags up so this wasn't much of an issue."

"The hotel is beautiful, room decoration/style is amazing, location is great close but not too close to main areas of Rialto/San Marco. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely. Only 2 things we disliked was the additional charge for cooked eggs at breakfast (considering the price of the hotel) and we had a problem with air conditioning in room. The room was too hot, air conditioning just didn’t click in or work, opened window during night which was a mistake and ended up with insect bites next morning. Raised it with reception and they gave us fans to help keep us cool which worked but this was the only thing that let our experience down, I’m sure from quality of hotel and staff service that this is probably a one off and lets be honest things sometimes go wrong everywhere. We would stay again here as it was lovely"

The bedding was very comfortable and room service was impeccable. Hans was incredible and we really enjoyed experiencing the Italian hospitality he had to offer. "
