"Easy to access from water taxi. Close to many important features of Venice. Connecting bar and Resturaunt were very good. Breakfast, area and meal were Excelent. I will stay here again when visiting Venice again. Staff were exceptional!"

"This property does all the right things for an enjoyable stay. Check in was easy and front desk provided maps and guidance of area as well as arranged our water taxi for early morning. Bags brought to room, free water, snacks and complementary Prosecco. Bathroom nice size and beds clean and comfy. Recommend canal view. Magic of Venice. "

"Great hotel. Very central, 5 mins from San Marco, but still quite secluded. We went for the junior suite which was lovely with an amazing view of the canals usually frequented by Gondolas. Lift was a little temperamental, so 3 floors a few times a day was a bit of a shin splint, but that was literally my only gripe. Free breakfast was basic but very welcome and sets you up for the day nicely. Budget for the city tax at the end of your stay. Water taxi is pricey but worth it to get back to the airport in good time and reception are more than happy to help."

"We loved the San Marco Hotel! It is in a perfect place, convenient to food and entertainment. Breakfast was great, the staff were very accommodating. One thing we loved about the hotel is that it is old, it gave us the feel of old world Venice. If you are looking for a new fancy hotel, this is not the one. It is definitely old world charm."
