"The good: - great location, right next to the Quinta Avenida (main pedestrian street) - room and beds were basic but nice enough - air conditioning, wi-fi, cleaning service - inexpensive The not-so-good: - The front desk is not 24-hour, contrary to what is claimed on Expedia. Office hours are from 7 AM to 9 PM. That is according to the sign on the door. But even that is not respected, because when I arrived to check in at 7 PM, no one was there. "I had spotty wifi throughout the stay. The staff was quick and helpful in resolving it initially, but the problem persisted. The room was okay. There was a mini fridge that didn't work, a coffee maker but no coffee or any coffee apparatus. The door was hard to lock and unlock without pushing it. The staff made up for the few things that didn't work in the room. They were pleasant and always helpful. Great location, but noisy. Not what you want if peace and quiet is what you're looking for....

"This boutique hotel is half a block from the beach and half a block from Quinta Avenida which is a lively walkable street, full of shops and restaurants. The street is pedestrian only and it has a lot of action. In the hotel we received an excellent service from Nellye and Lizzy at the reception. They were very helpful to us. We highly recommend this hotel. "
