"The good: - great location, right next to the Quinta Avenida (main pedestrian street) - room and beds were basic but nice enough - air conditioning, wi-fi, cleaning service - inexpensive The not-so-good: - The front desk is not 24-hour, contrary to what is claimed on Expedia. Office hours are from 7 AM to 9 PM. That is according to the sign on the door. But even that is not respected, because when I arrived to check in at 7 PM, no one was there. The door gives a phone number for outside...

"Pros: Good central location short walk from beaches, ADO bus station, Cozumel ferry. Helpful staff recommended good tours at decent prices. Clean. Cons: Base from music nearby made it noisy at night, particularly from 10pm-2:30am (changing rooms didn't help). Hot water could be hit/miss at off-peak times (afternoon, late at night)."

"This boutique hotel is half a block from the beach and half a block from Quinta Avenida which is a lively walkable street, full of shops and restaurants. The street is pedestrian only and it has a lot of action. In the hotel we received an excellent service from Nellye and Lizzy at the reception. They were very helpful to us. "The hotel was very well located. The pool and all the shared areas were very clean (the cleaners worked tirelessly). The rooms were a good size. The towel policy was a bit difficult (i.e. you had to leave ID, which seems weird since they already had your information including credit card info. Also, their policy on sheet changes was draconian, i.e. we stayed a week. Mid week, my daughter asked for a sheet change and was told the cost would be 700 pesos which is almost $50. This seems excessive...

"This is not a 2.5 stars hotel, and it is not even a hostel. This is a room in an old resident building. The neighbours do not even know that room is a 'hotel room'. There is no any reception, you have to call (or email) the owner so that he would show up and give you the key. The free parking is just parking on street! Stay away this one if you are looking for a hostel/hotel! "
