"Great location and layout of property "

"We have been there three times now, and are always sad to leave. The resort is very nice the people are so friendly and helpful. We met senor Javier the customer service manager I think. He was so incredibly helpful dealing with our room issue. The guy is a treasure indeed. He always was very interested in how we were enjoying our time there. We loved the room and the view we had of the ocean. The servers at the restaurants never seemed to have a bad day. I had some interactions with front desk ,Luisa was always smiling. The marina is a short walk away. We will definitely return only to stay longer"

"I really loved our week at the Barcelo. A couple things to note, as I think some visitors may want to know. The a le carte restaurants book out quickly. We found the steakhouse challenging to book, as the premium guests get first priority. We managed to get a booking for 8:30pm which was the earliest available. Not a problem, but worth noting. If you want to do excursions there are great options but there will be extended travel time as it takes a while to drive to the excursions from the resort. The tour company is based out of puerto Vallarta so you will be travelling at least an hour longer in a shuttle than the hotel pick up is in puerto Vallarta. Once again, not an issue for us but worth knowing. Otherwise the resort has great food, is simple and quiet. We loved it. "

"Absolutely thrilled. 4 Star and wonderful breakfast. Staff were amazing. Only negative just before retrieving our luggage to head to the airport my wife tripped on the black marble slab in front of the main door. Angle of the sun and shadow obscured the small rise. Result: broken wrist and hairline fracture to the other upper arm. Suggest you bevel the lip to avoid future injuries. I have wrist issues and had taken my braces which my wife used on the flight home then straight to the hospital. Weirdly, bad sidewalks are common in PV but this happened where new."

"This was our third stay at Crown Paradise Golden and we will definitely go back. We love being right on the beach and being able to walk the beach into Puerta Vallarta. The a la carte restaurants are all great and it is easy to get dinner reservations. The staff are friendly and helpful. We love this resort!"
