"We only had a very quick trip in Hanoi but we loved being very central within walking distance to lots of the old town. Friendly, helpful staff and a value for money room and breakfast."

"Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2 is a small older hotel. It rained the entire week we stayed there and our room felt damp. There was always condensation on the windows as well as the walls and floor in the bathroom. There was no fan in the bathroom which added to the problem. Rooms are not soundproof and the noise from the busy Hanoi traffic was constant. On the positive side, the staff were all excellent. The place was clean and well cared for. The breakfast was good and the service was great....

Breakfast was delicious and I’m convinced this is the best location to stay if you like the Old Quarter. Close to Hoan Kiem but not in the thick of it. Definitely go down the street to visit Kim at local craft beer.."
