"I don’t like to leave reviews but I had to make an exception for this hotel. It was way better than I expected, I was a little bit concerned since I was traveling by myself but I felt safe the whole time, I didn’t even need to use my door lock because they already have on the door, while most hotels doesn’t. The staff at the front desk were just amazing and so friendly and I’m very picky about costumer service. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel on my next business trip to Monterey. "

"Fantastic stay! I was very happy with the location - walkable to attractions (including a great walking path, park, and beach access), convenient, and safe. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking was easy. Not too noisy. The courtyard along with pool and hot tub was charming. Microwave, refrigerator, and coffee & tea in room were a nice perk. Very happy with this budget friendly property, and will return next time I'm in town."

"I loved the building, lobby, decorations, and restaurants. The mattress seemed worn because there were saggy parts where most people sleep. We requested a microwave and it was brought to our room promptly. The carbon monoxide alarm started chirping at 3 AM, and someone came to replace the batteries. "
