"The hotel seems small but charming and a great place to stay in Monterey. It's also really easy to get to Carmel 10min drive . The beds were incredibly comfortable and the fireplace helped create a cozy environment in the living room. Parking was free which was a big plus. Breakfast was really a quick grab and go type of setting, perhaps a snack bar. Quaker Brand Granola Bars, snack size individually package cereals, coffee, juice, bagel wrapped in saran wrap. There is no Gym but the hotel offers a complimentary gym pass to Gold’s Gym at the mall across the street only if you already have a membership with Gold's gym (at least that's what we were told at the front counter). In the end for the amount of money paid for 3 nights it was well worth it, I would definately recommend staying here for a convinient place to tour Monterey and Carmel. "

"We stayed two nights this hotel as a family with young kids. I was great for us. Close to everything and friendly staff. The restaurant connected was very family friendly. The sounds of the airplanes flying over from the near by airport were not to bad. We would stay again."
