"We really enjoyed this resort. The room was a full apartment and the kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook while you are there. Just a warning that there are no toiletries provided in the room other than simple hand soap. But overall, we loved our room. It was very spacious and the resort grounds were very nice and well kept. It was easy to get to the pool nearest to the room and you can also use their bikes or reserve tennis or bocce ball. This resort is not in the city...

"We stayed in October and were very pleased with the accommodations for the price and location. Easy walk to the beach and small but full kitchen for simple meals so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. "

"Great Location, a true ski-in-ski-out. Love having indoor parking, there is no need to worry about digging out the car after a heavy snow fall. The unit we stayed was very cozy, kitchen is got everything we needed to prepare meals, except for one tiny little thing. The non-stick pan was scratched, not badly, but not healthy for cooking anymore. So, I had to cook with the stainless pan, which needed to cook with more oil. "

"We had such a wonderful time staying at Channel Island Shores! This was our 2nd visit and before our stay, Tina asked if we were celebrating anything so I mentioned that we were visiting Oxnard because my son wanted to go fishing for his 13th birthday. My daughter was also celebrating her 8th birthday as well. She asked me to send her a photo of them and when we arrived, they had a special birthday set up on the dining table. It was a framed photo, birthday button, and a special message written...

"We stayed here because we were meeting up with family. The people at the front desk were not only very professional, but very accommodating. They gave us a room next door to our grandkids which made it so much fun! My husband is disabled and they were so kind and understanding in little ways that made a big difference. Our unit was immaculate, with everything we needed, including kitchen furnishings. The pool and spa were lovely and well kept. Thanks for a great experience!"

"Brought our high school golf team for a tournament. The units were perfect. Beds for everyone, having 2 bathrooms was great and the large dining table and living room served our team meetings well. Additionally, the pool, ping pong table and putting green kept our boys occupied. Very spacious and clean units with comfortable beds. I would almost venture to say that these were at one time apartments that were converted into a resort."
