"Stay was overall excellent. Stay there years ago n very pleasant experience. Still yet extradonary place to stay away from home. Was disappointed that the fireplace did not quiet warm room as expected but it still was cozy and elegant scene to have or try to concoct. Love the restaurant and the atmosphere there my first time trying out and it was awesome! "

"We were a family of 9 adults and every single person in our group talked about how impressed we all were with this hotel. The location, the food, the cleanliness, the amenities, the atmosphere, the decor - almost everything was 5 star. The only thing I would change is the mattress - it was uncomfortable and every time my husband or I moved the whole mattress would wobble. The waitstaff working at the function we attended definitely need more training about how to talk to each other in front of the guests. But that's negligible. I would stay at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa again and again. It is excellent."
