"I rated this resort good instead of excellent due to a couple of reasons. The pictures make the ground level patio views to be peace and relaxing when really it's a couple feet of zen but you're looking a parking lot. There is no view of sunset whatsoever. The wall in the bathroom was thin. I could the neighbor's conversation clearly. Luckily, that was the case by the bed. I also chose this resort because of the airport shuttle included. However, I learned at check-in the shuttle doesn't start...

"The property was located in a perfect spot for enjoying Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium. Also lots of shops and restaurants right there. Fantastic weekend. Thanks, unforgettable."

"Monterey Marriott is a very nice hotel. It was clean, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. But the price is a little bit higher than I expected in comparison to the total package. Plus the $39.00 parking fee per vehicle on top of the cost of the room. Now maybe I am wrong, but I don’t recall seeing a parking fee in the description on Expedia. If I missed it, my apologies. The other item that disturbed me is the pillows. These pillows were small and very thin. Even stacking two...
