"This was my first time in San Francisco, didn't know much about the area, but being in the center of it all I'd explore one side of the city and come back to relax in my pod. People were respectful of privacy, had recommendations of places to eat/tour, and we're very welcoming. In the morning, several bathrooms/showers to choose from and always clean and ready to use. "I stayed at the Rumi Hostel for two nights and I loved the atmosphere and how comfortable the bedroom and living room were, as well as the convenience of the complimentary breakfast. It was great value and worth the stay. The metro stop was also close by as well as good visiting sites. I would definitely like to come back here again whenever I visit LA next time!"

"Let's face it, bunk beds are not the most conducive to a good night's sleep. And you can't expect a "hotel room" experience in a hostel. But everyone on the staff was very cool, and while I would probably opt for the expense of a hotel room in the future I did enjoy the experience."

"Lovely building, very pleasant staff, room was nice and beds comfortable. We were seeing a show at the Crest and it was an easy walk to the venue. We didn’t love that our room was on the third floor and we had to lug our luggage up two flights of steps, a bit tough for us older folks. Also didn’t love our neighbors next store who were banging on the shared wall at 5am. "

"I rented room 316. The room is modern and everything worked perfectly in the room. Plenty of fast hot water for the shower. Check in/out persons were very nice. All of the other persons renting rooms, I met walking up/down the stairs and in the breakfast area, were extremely friendly. Samesun is a totally FUN place to rent a room. I plan to rent a room again in the future. "
