"Easy access just off CA-108 highway, just a few minutes away from Dodge Ridge ski resort. Free parking right outside the entrance. Inside the front entrance, the check-in area is not well marked. Turn left, go through the restaurant and a small registration window is found just past the bar. After check-in, the staff member led us out through the bar/restaurant downstairs through the key-access area to our spacious room. No fridge or microwave, and beds had older, somewhat noisy mattress...

"This is a charming place to stay. Note that the building is old - built from redwoods and insulated with redwood sawdust - so you can hear everything. I slept with earplugs and over-ear headphones playing soft music and had an excellent night sleep - best of my trip. Somehow they have managed to have beds that are very soft, but it also didn’t mess up my back. "This is an ideal weekend getaway. Self check-in, in-room hot tub and fireplace, and very close to several local wineries. There’s also a convenience store within a few hundred feet that has craft beer, wine, and basic grocery items (open until 11pm most days). Highly recommend."
